MORE ABOUT BRICKTOBER

What is Bricktober?

Bricktober is an annual event that showcases models built from LEGO® by fans of the brick in Western Australia. Featuring exhibitions and displays for all ages to enjoy, along with an interactive zone that gives our patrons a hands on LEGO® experience like no other.

Bricktober  is a family friendly event that brings the WA community together.

Bricktober is a project of The Rotary Club of Ascot (Inc).

The Rotary Club of Ascot (Inc) is a non Political and non Religious Community Service organisation that is made up of leaders in their professions that volunteer their time to help out their local and international communities.

The organising committee of Bricktober are all volunteers who donate their time to making the event the success that it is.

Bricktober’s History

Bricktober was first run in 2014 by the Rotary Club of Ascot as a one-day event, held in the Belmont City College Gymnasium.

In 2015 we moved to Cannington Exhibition Centre and Showgrounds and Bricktober was increased to a two-day event.

Outgrowing the Showgrounds, we moved to our current location at Curtin Stadium – allowing more space for exhibitors, sellers and our Interactive Zone. 2024 will be our 8th year at Curtin Stadium AND the 11th year Bricktober has been running.

We thank the exhibitors for their wonderful creations over the years, and of course all the visitors to the show since we began, and look forward to seeing you at our 2024 event.

Beneficiaries of Bricktober

Bricktober is volunteer run with the proceeds supporting Rotary programs and projects both locally and internationally split across three key areas:

  • Providing LEGO® Play tubs that are donated to school and community groups to share the joy and play experience to children around the state.
  • Provide funding for local and international projects supported by the Ascot Rotary Club, which includes disaster response, providing clean water and economic development, supporting homelessness and youth leadership and development.
  • Support for the Rotary Foundation which funds and develops programmes around the world that aim to achieve world understanding and peace through humanitarian, educational and cultural programs.

Bricktober is hosted by The Rotary Club of Ascot (Inc) to raise funds to go towards support for programs for young children and other Rotary and Community Projects.
